    Five SEC Players Taken In WNBA Draft A total of five SEC women’s basketball players were taken in the 2014 WNBA?draft, as the world’s top female basketball prospects were selected live on prime time television for the second time in the league’s 18-year history. The draft consisted of three rounds of 12 picks each.

    Maria Taylor Named To SEC Network Lineup The SEC Network, ESPN’s 24/7 network devoted to the Southeastern Conference, has reached a multi-year deal with Maria Taylor to serve as studio host. She will also be a sideline reporter for SEC football games and an analyst for volleyball and select women’s basketball contests.
