AUBURN, Ala. – Six current and former Auburn swimmers have been named to the USA Swimming 2010-11 National team, the USA Swimming office announced Wednesday.
Swimmers were chosen based upon their times in Olympic events at the 2010 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships and the 2010 Mutual of Omaha Pan Pacific Championships. Swimmers with the top six times in each event make the National Team.
“I’m very proud of this group of swimmers for all they’ve accomplished this year,” head coach Brett Hawke said. “They’ve put in a lot of hard work and are deserving of this honor.”
