    Kenny Gabriel was named co-SEC Player of the Week after he averaged 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in wins over Ole Miss and LSU. Gabriel notched his first career double-double against an SEC team with game-highs of 16 points and 11 rebounds at LSU. He scored 10 straight points to keep the Tigers within striking distance in the first half and then drilled a jumper with 1:45 left to give Auburn a six point lead. Gabriel scored a career-high 24 points on 3-of-5 3-pointers and had seven rebounds as Auburn erased a 20-point deficit to defeat Ole Miss 76-73. It was the second largest comeback in school history.

    Ravern Johnson was named co-SEC Player of the Week after he averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals in wins over Arkansas and South Carolina. In 74 minutes of action, Johnson drained 12 of his 22 3-pointers, including a career-tying best 7 against South Carolina to give him 257 for his career, one shy of tying Darryl Wilson for the second-most in school history and 23 shy of Barry Stewart’s school record of 280. In his last six games, he’s hitting 26 of his 44 attempts for 59.1 percent.

    Kentucky’s Brandon Knight was named SEC Freshman of the Week after averaging 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in wins over Vanderbilt and at Tennessee. Knight scored 12 of his 17 points and grabbed four of his six rebounds in the second half against Vanderbilt to help the Cats remain perfect at home for the second straight season. He iced the game vs. Vanderbilt with two free throws with :08 left to UK an insurmountable 68-65 lead. At Tennessee, he scored 17 of his game-high 19 points in the second half. Knight, who was a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line on the week, hit a pair of free throws with just over a minute remaining to help put the game away.
