    Atlanta, Ga. -- Vanderbilt advances to quarterfinal action on Friday, using a strong shooting performance from Jeffery Taylor to down LSU 62-50 in the SEC Men's Tournament opening round on Thursday. The Commodores victory places them in Friday action against Western Division second seed Mississippi State.
