    SEC Offensive Player Of The Week
    Emily Dowd, Tennessee

    Emily Dowd registered her second two-goal effort of the season (and fourth of her career) to go along with an assist for five total points as the Big Orange routed Coastal Carolina, 4-0. The Gainesville, Fla., native has now exceeded the four-point mark in back-to-back contests and three times thus far in 2011 (four points vs. Middle Tennessee and Charlotte) after having a hand in three of UT’s four scores against CCU. Dowd tallied her initial goal against the Chanticleers at 18:46 from six yards out by volleying home a cross from the right wing. Her second score came from 12 yards out on the right side in a one-vs.-one situation against the CCU keeper. She did all her damage against Coastal Carolina while playing just 56 total minutes. Dowd has 15 career goals and has now scored five times over UT’s last four contests.

    Mo Isom, LSU

    Mo Isom continued her ascent up the SEC career record books after earning her third shutout in six starts in goal for the Tigers with LSU’s 1-0 win over McNeese State. She made four saves on the night, including a highlight reel diving save with just 9 seconds remaining in the match to preserve the shutout. Isom earned her 25th career clean sheet to move into a tie for the No. 7 spot on the SEC’s all-time career list for shutouts. Isom also dropped her season goals against average to an SEC-leading 0.43 while allowing just 3 goals in nearly 623 minutes of action. She has also dropped her career GAA to 0.74, which ranks in sole possession of the No. 3 spot on the SEC’s all-time career list.

    Annie Speese, Florida

    Annie Speese scored three goals over the course of Florida's matches last weekend. She turned in her first collegiate goals at No. 24 Missouri as she provided all the scoring in the 2-0 win. She is the 11th Gator to turn in multiple goals in the match where they scored their first collegiate goal and second first-time scorer since Leah Bridges in 1995 to provide all the UF scoring for the match. On Sunday,. Speese scored the second goal in Florida's 7-2 win at Kansas on Sept. 18. Speese is second among the Gators with 10 points and shares second with three goals. She leads the Gators with four assists.
