    SEC  OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Allie Bailey, Texas A&M

    Bailey earned MVP honors at the Texas A&M Invitational after registering two goals in as many games, including the lone goal in the Aggies 1-0 win over Saint Mary’s. In Friday night’s win over No. 16 Rutgers, Bailey gave the Aggies an insurance goal early in the second half with a penalty kick goal. Texas A&M captured the tournament crown when Bailey scored the game winning goal against the Gaels with 7:33 remaining in the match.
     
     
    SEC  DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Kelly McCormick, Ole Miss
    GK • 5-7 • So. • Laguna Nigel, Calif.

    McCormick was critical to the Rebels posting two shutout wins on the week, including handing Texas Tech its first loss of the season. She posted a save on every shot on goal, notching nine saves on the week and also came up with several key deflections on crosses and corner kicks against the Red Raiders. She tallied an assist on one of the Rebels’ two goals in the win over Texas Tech.
     
     
    SEC  FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
    Honeye Heydari, Mississippi State
    F • 5-7 • Jackson, Tenn.

    Heydari continued her sizzling start to the season, scoring three of MSU’s six goals in a pair of 3-0 wins against ULM and Georgia State. She netted the game-winning goal in each contest as her three goals on the weekend came on just five on-goal chances. Heydari has tallied at least one point in all five matches this season, the third-longest streak in MSU annals.
