    LSU Soccer Holds Off Memphis

    BATON ROUGE -- Colby Maffei scored her first collegiate goal and Heather Magee added the difference maker in the 61st minute, as the LSU soccer team defeated Memphis, 2-1, on Monday at the LSU Soccer Stadium.

    LSU goalkeeper Megan Kinneman had 10 saves including a penalty kick by Kylie Davis in the 29th minute to keep the Tigers ahead.

    Memphis (2-3) cut into the deficit with a goal by Christabel Oduro in the 76th minute, but the homestanding Tigers held on for the victory.

    LSU (4-1-2) was outshot, 24-8, including 11-5 in shots on-goal.
