AUBURN - The 2012 WNBA season came to an end last weekend, ending the year for former Tigers DeWanna Bonner and Le'Coe Willingham.
Despite the Phoenix Mercury ending 7-27, Bonner posted a stand-out season in her third year of professional play. Bonner was second in the league in scoring with 20.6 points per game. She was also 11th in rebounds with a 7.2 average, as well as 13th in blocks with 0.9 per game. She finished eighth in steals with an average of 1.7 and 33rd in assists with 2.2 per game.
Le'Coe Willingham and the Chicago Sky ended 14-20 on the season. Willingham finished her eighth year in the league with 3.5 points per game and a 2.9 rebounding average.
