Baseball America's annual `Dandy Dozen' recruiting rankings came out and for the first time since the 2007 season Auburn is among the top 12 teams, checking in at number nine. According to the magazine,
"Auburn's balanced class is its strongest since this coaching staff arrived in 2008." The magazine goes into great detail on freshman outfielder Sam Gillikin and junior college transfer infielder Damek Tomscha, who it claims "might be one of the nation's most impactful juco transfers thanks to his power bat and his power arm at third base, where he is a sound defender."
