    Former Auburn All-American Lee Williams Earns PGA Tour Card

    AUBURN – Former Auburn All-American Lee Williams earned his PGA Tour card for the 2013 season after finishing 16th on the Web.com Tour money list. Williams earned $223,468 in 2012 which included his first career victory at the Mexico Open, four Top-10 finishes and eight Top-25 finishes.

    While at Auburn from 2001-2005, Williams helped the Tigers to their third SEC Championship in 2002 where he finished tied for fifth, and he was runner-up at the 2003 NCAA Championship. The Alexander City, Ala., native finished his Auburn career with the lowest career scoring average at 72.38, and is currently second.

    Williams is the fifth former Auburn player on the PGA tour joining Jason Dufner, Will Claxton, Gary Christian and Roland Thatcher.
