BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The NCAA on Thursday announced a number of future championship sites, with several regarding the sport of track and field.
The 2014 NCAA Division I men’s and women’s indoor track and field finals will be contested in Albuquerque, N.M., in the Albuquerque Convention Center. It will mark the first-ever Division I indoor championship ever to be held at altitude.
The NCAA also announced the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Division I men’s and women’s track and field east preliminary site, awarding that event to Jacksonville, Fla., and the University of North Florida, site of the 2012 event. It had previously been announced that the NCAA Division I outdoor track and field championship site for 2014 is Eugene, Ore.
