    Arkansas Fights Off Tulsa

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas found itself in a battle with one of Conference USA’s best teams on Saturday, but the Razorbacks came away with a close 19-15 win over Tulsa in Fayetteville. The Hogs (4-5, 2-3 SEC) eclipsed the 400-yard mark offensively in the win and won their seventh consecutive homecoming game.
    Arkansas – which has the SEC’s best passing game, averaging 309 yards per game – was limited to 272 yards through the air on the day by the Tulsa (7-2, 5-0 C-USA) defense. Dennis Johnson was the star of the offensive show for the Hogs, carrying the ball 22 times on the day for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Cobi Hamilton, the SEC’s best receiver, had a usually prolific day with 11 grabs and 177 yards.
    Tulsa running back Trey Watts racked up 81yards and a score for the Golden Hurricane, who led Arkansas 15-12 in the fourth quarter before the Razorbacks scored the game-winner. The win marked number four on the year for Arkansas, and its 135 yards on the ground marked the fifth consecutive game that it recorded over 100 yards rushing.
    Tulsa also went over the 100-yard on the ground, notching 106 rushing yards.
