    Football Practice Report

    Nov. 15, 2012

Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn football team put in its final practice of the week Thursday as the Tigers prepare for Saturday's home finale against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.

Speaking at his weekly Tuesday press conference, Auburn head coach Gene Chizik said the Bulldogs have enjoyed a successful season and will come into Jordan-Hare Stadium fired up to play the program's first-ever game against a Southeastern Conference opponent.

"It's just a solid football team that's won seven games, and I'm sure they will be excited to come in here," Chizik stated. "I think it is the first SEC game maybe that they have played, in state and they have a lot to prove. I think they'll come in here raring to go and fight like crazy and try to get a win."

Saturday's game is Senior Day at Jordan-Hare Stadium as Auburn's 13 seniors will be recognized in a pregame ceremony.

"I think they (seniors) should get an outstanding (reception from fans) one, and I think that they deserve it for the work they have put in for this University and the commitment that they have made to this University," Chizik added. "To be honest, with the success that they've had in their four years here with three bowl wins and a national championship and an SEC championship, which they all significantly contributed to at some point in time or another, I think it would be extremely fitting that they go out the way they should go out, and that is on a very positive note."

The game will be televised on a pay-per-view basis. Fans interested in purchasing the game on pay-per-view must contact their local cable operator or small dish provider for ordering information. The game will be available in the state of Alabama and the Columbus, Ga. market. It will also be available on ESPN GamePlan and ESPN3, but blacked out via those channels in the state of Alabama.

A limited number of tickets for the game are still available. For more information or questions regarding tickets, contact the ticket office by email at tickets@auburn.edu or by phone at 855-AUB-2010.
