TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama scored 42 points in the first half en route to beating arch rival Auburn, 49-0 in the Iron Bowl on Saturday.
The Crimson Tide defense held Auburn to only 163 yards in the game, as well as forcing three turnovers by the Tigers.
Meanwhile, the Crimson Tide offense was clicking on all cylinders. A.J. McCarron hit on 15-of-21 passing for 216 yards and four touchdowns, two each to Amari Cooper and Kevin Norwood.
On the ground, Eddie Lacy had 131 yards on 18 carries, with two touchdowns, while T.J. Yeldon had eight rushes for 38 yards and a score.
Alabama advances to Satruday's SEC Championship Game, where they will meet the Eastern Division Champion Georgia Bulldogs.
Auburn finishes its season at 3-9.
