
(NEW YORK, NY)—The final Golf World/Nike Golf Division I College Coaches’ Poll of the2012 Fall Season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). With the first half of the 2012-13 season completed, California lays claim to the No. 1 ranking in the final fall Golf World/Nike Golf men's Division I coaches' poll. The Golden Bears were the unanimous choice of the 21 voters after winning outright or sharing the team title in all five events they played this past semester.
Defending NCAA champion Texas claimed the No. 2 spot, followed by Alabama, Florida and UCLA.
Duke moved up one spot to No. 10, the only school that joined the top 10. No. 24 Wake Forest was the lone program to jump into the top 25.
