    SEC SWIMMING AND DIVING ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

    SEC FEMALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

    White won each individual race she competed in (four) and shared first in three relays as Arkansas defeated South Carolina, Florida State, Davidson and Queens College to go 4-0 on the weekend. The highlight of the weekend came when White swam a personal best in the 100 butterfly to take first place against No. 21 Florida State and South Carolina as Florida State was trying to mount a comeback. White also took first in a grueling 400 IM also against FSU and South Carolina. In the relays against Davidson and Queens, White recorded the fastest split of the race and led the Razorback relay teams to two Davidson pool records.

    SEC FEMALE DIVER OF THE WEEK

    St. Germain swept the boards as Texas A&M picked up wins over University of Incarnate Word and LSU on Jan. 18-19. Against Incarnate Word, St. Germain won the dives with scores of 323.71 on the one-meter and 340.43 on the three-meter. Her mark on the three-meter ranks second in the SEC. In a win over conference foe LSU, St. Germain took both dives with 319.20 on the three-meter and 295.73 on the one-meter.   

    SEC FEMALE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

    Burlington, Ontario, Canada


    Russell took first in three events as Florida defeated FAU  in non-conference action. She won the 50 free in 23.71, raced to a first-place finish in the 100 free (50.66) and helped the 200 medley relay team finish first in 1:40.71. Both individual marks were personal best times for Russell and the three wins were the most for a Gator on the day.

    SEC MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
    Sebastien Rousseau, Florida

    Rousseau won all three individual events he competed in during action at the SMU Classic on Jan. 18-19. He swam his second NCAA “A” time in the 400 IM this season (3:42.91) and dropped 13 seconds from his previous personal-best 500 free time after clocking in at 4:17.53. His time in the 500 free ranks third in the SEC this season. Rousseau also recorded a NCAA “B” time in the 200 fly (1:43.45) and led off the 800 free relay with a “B” cut mark of 1:37.21.

    SEC MALE DIVER OF THE WEEK
    Ford McLiney, Texas A&M
    So. • Kansas City, Mo.


    McLiney went swept the boards during action against University of Incarnate Word on Jan. 18. He won the one-meter with 392.55 points, the fourth-highest mark in the SEC, and claimed the three-meter title with 391.35 points. McLiney also took the one-meter dive (359.55) vs. LSU as the Aggies defeated the Tigers for its first SEC win of the season.

    SEC MALE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
    Alexandros Theocharidis, Texas A&M

    Theocharidis won two events as Texas A&M overcame multiple double-digit deficits to garner its first SEC victory with a 158-140 win over LSU. He won the 100 back in 49.64 early in the meet, and then took the 200 back down the stretch with a time of 1:48.71. Theocharidis also won the 100 back title in A&M’s win over University of Incarnate Word and helped the 200 medley relay squad to a first-place finish in that meet.
