    SEC SWIMMING AND DIVING ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

    SEC FEMALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
    Lindsay Gendron, Tennessee
    Jr. • Bloomington, Ill.


    Gendron won the 200 and 500-yard freestyle events and finished second in the 400 IM as No. 11 Tennessee defeated No. 2 Georgia on Senior Day. Gendron took the 200 free title in 1:44.63, the third best time in the SEC, and won the 500 free in 4:44.08. Both times were NCAA ‘B’ cut marks. Gendron’s time of 4:12.93 in the 400 IM is the second-fastest mark in program history. She also helped the 200 free relay team to an NCAA ‘A’ cut time of 1:29.70, a mark that ranks fourth-highest in the SEC.

    SEC FEMALE DIVER OF THE WEEK
    Loren Figueroa, Missouri
    Jr. • Oklahoma City, Okla.


    Figueroa swept the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard titles in Mizzou’s dual win over Drury on Jan. 25. Figueroa posted scores of 338.25 in the 3-meter (her second highest total of the year) and 296.48 in the 1-meter. She remains undefeated in the 1-meter this season with her eighth win in eight tries this year.

    SEC FEMALE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
    Faith Johnson, Tennessee
    High Point, N.C.


    Johnson took the 50 and 100 yard freestyle races and helped the 200 free relay team to an NCAA ‘A’ cut time during Tennessee’s win over Georgia on Saturday. Johnson swam an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 22.47 in the 50 free, the sixth best time in the SEC, and took the 100 free title in 49.71. She is the first Lady Vol to swim better than 23 seconds in the 50 free this season.

    SEC MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
    Marcin Cieslak, Florida
    Jr. • Warsaw, Poland


    Cieslak won all three individual events he competed in during action against Auburn on Saturday. He won the 200 IM in 1:46.99 and swept both butterfly events. Cieslak took the 200 fly in 1:45.96 and touched the 100 fly wall in 47.65. He led Florida with three victories as the Gators defeated the Tigers 167-133.  

    SEC MALE DIVER OF THE WEEK
    Rylan Ridenour, South Carolina
    Sr. • Lebanon, Ind.


    Senior Rylan Ridenour swept the boards against College of Charleston, Queens and Wingate. He won the three-meter springboard with a school record score of 446.95, breaking his own record of 427.43. Ridenour also won the one-meter competition with a career-best 395.90, which was 5.75 points shy of the school record. His three-meter score currently ranks first in the SEC and his one-meter score ranks fourth in the conference.

    SEC MALE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
    Chase Kalisz, Georgia
    Bel Air, Md.


    In Georgia's meet with Tennessee in Knoxville, Kalisz won three events with NCAA ‘B’ cut marks. He won the 200 butterfly in 1:46.89 and claimed the 200 breaststroke in 1:58.09. Kalisz also took the 400 individual medley in 3:49.82. All three times were collegiate personal bests. Kalisz is now 9-for-9 in his individual events since joining the Bulldogs in January.
