Soccer Signs Eight To NLIs On Wednesday

    Feb. 6, 2013

The Auburn soccer program signed eight high school seniors to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday morning, the first day of the spring signing period. The signees come from six different states and include a goalkeeper, three defenders, a midfielder and three forwards, though many of them are capable of playing multiple positions.

"Today is another exciting signing day for Auburn soccer," head coach Karen Hoppa said. "Watching this class of players grow over the past year has been amazing and we cannot wait to have them join our team on the field. They make us better in every position."

Signing with Auburn: are goalkeeper Kelly Neeb (Cincinnati, Ohio / McAuley HS); defenders Kiana Clarke (Davie, Fla. / American Heritage), Haley Roberson (Burke, Va. / James W. Robinson) and Taylor Wagnon (Atlanta, Ga. / Greater Atlanta Christian); midfielder Brooke Ramsier (Dallas, Texas / Plano West); and forwards Savannah Miller (Fairfax, Va. / James W. Robinson), Casie Ramsier (Dallas, Texas / Plano West) and Samantha Solaru (Irvine, Calif. / Northwood).
