    Three Invited To NFL Combine

    AUBURN -- Three former Auburn players were among the 335 professional prospects invited to participate in the 2013 NFL Combine later this month in Indianapolis. Defensive end Corey Lemonier, tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen and running back Onterio McCalebb were invited to take part in this annual pre-draft evaluation.

    Lutzenkirchen, who ended his career second among Auburn tight ends in career receptions (59) and third in career receiving yards (628), set an AU record for career touchdown receptions by a tight end with 14. He will work with ths first group at the combine, arriving February 20 and concluding with their on-field workouts February 23.

    McCalebb, who rushed for 2,586 yards at Auburn and finished fourth among the Tigers' all-time career all-purpose yardage leaders (4,566), will work in the second group at the combine, arriving February 21 and concluding with on-field drills February 24.

    Lemonier, a second team all-SEC selection in 2012 who recorded 98 career tackles, 24 TFL and 17 sacks, is part of the third group of combine participants, arriving February 22 and concluding with on-field drills February 25.

    Defensive backs make up the fourth group (February 23-26). The NFL Combine will be televised live by the NFL Network. The 2013 NFL Draft is April 25-27.
