Former Vanderbilt Commodore Brandt Snedeker secured a victory in the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on Sunday by shooting a seven-under par 65 in his final round.
Snedeker putted for par on the 18th hole to drop his weekend total to 267, a final tally of 19-under. Chris Kirk was the runner-up at Pebble Beach, finishing Sunday with a 64. Despite his low final round score, Kirk never pressured Snedeker or got within two strokes of the former Vandy standout.
The win marks number two of the year for Snedeker, who is now ranked No. 4 in the world. In his last two outings, Snedeker finished in second place behind Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
