    SEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Nicole Hudson – Missouri
    3B  • Sr. • Webb City, Mo.


    Hudson helped Mizzou to an unblemished 5-0 record at the UCSB Tournament last weekend. In 12 at-bats, the hot-hitting Hudson finished with five HRs, 11 RBIs, seven hits, seven runs and a .538 batting average despite being walked four times. Her performance against Fresno State included pitching 5.0 innings to earn the win. Hudson has five home runs thus far in 2013 (five games) after only hitting seven as a junior in 2012 (61 games).

    SEC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
    Chelsea Thomas – Missouri
    Sr. • Pleasantville, Iowa


    Thomas struck out 19 batters in 14.0 innings of action last week with no earned runs for a 0.00 earned run average. The senior had 10 Ks versus UC Santa Barbara and struck out nine batters against Fresno State. She gave up just five hits over the weekend with no walks and earned a pair of complete game wins plus a shutout.

    SEC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
    Geri Ann Glasco – Georgia
    1B/P • Watkinsville, Ga.


    Glasco went 7-for-11 (.636 BA) with three HRs, seven RBIs, four runs and two doubles in an undefeated weekend for Georgia. She had multiple-hit games in each outing over the weekend and finished with a 1.545 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .667. Glasco has had a multiple base hit in each of the last six games and has reached base in each of the eight games this season. She is on a six-game hitting streak and her two-run homerun proved to be the game clincher against Northwestern. Glasco also went 1-0 on the mound and totaled eight strikeouts which was the most of any Bulldog this weekend.
