    SEC CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Lauren Gibson - Tennessee

Gibson had a strong week at the plate for Tennessee, leading the team with a .500 batting average (6-for-12) with six runs, six RBIs and three home runs. Two of her three HRs for the week came on the road at No. 3/3 Florida. On Friday, Gibson had a two-run HR with two outs in the seventh to tie the game and allow UT to take the game into the eighth inning. Gibson also had a solo homer against UF on Sunday. She recorded a hit and scored in each of UT’s four games last week and tallied three multi-RBI games, giving her six on the year (tied for second on the team).

    SEC CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Lauren Haeger - Florida
    P/1B  • So. • Peoria, Ariz.

Haeger accounted for all five runs off two homers Sunday in UF’s series-winning game over No. 6/7 Tennessee, including the game-tying and game-winning home runs. Her five RBIs on Sunday tied a career high as a Gator. Haeger hit the game-tying homer Saturday to account for one of UF’s three hits and the Gators’ only run against Tennessee that day. She also finished 1-for-1 in the circle for UF over the span of the series with the Lady Vols, capping off Sunday’s win with her eighth victory in the circle for UF to improve to 8-1. Haeger now has four wins over top-25 opponents in her career in the circle.

    Sr. • Pleasantville, Iowa.

Thomas had four starts over the week, earning three wins (including two conference wins) while not issuing a walk in 18.0 innings pitched. She struck out 22 batters in the 18.0 innings for an average of 1.22 batters per inning and finished the week with a 0.78 earned run average. Thomas struck out 10 batters in Mizzou’s 3-1 win over Evansville on March 13.
