    Player of the Week
    Mikelis Libietis • Tennessee
    Sophomore • Priekuli, Latvia
    • Clinched the Vols’ 4-1 win over No. 4 Kentucky with a three-set win over Wildcat senior Anthony Rossi. It was the Vols’ first victory over a top-10 team since April 2011 against Georgia. It was also Kentucky’s first home loss in more than a year.
    • Libietis followed that by being first off court against Vandy, beating No. 25 Ryan Lipman 6-3, 6-2. Libietis had lost to Lipman in the fall.
    • Libietis is now 16-1 in dual matches this spring, including 5-0 in the SEC at the No. 1 position. He is 30-4 overall and has 13 ranked wins this year.
    • In doubles, Libietis and Hunter Reese are 5-0 in the SEC since rejoining forces a few weeks ago at the No. 1 position. Three of those wins have been against top-25 teams, including last weekend against Kentucky

    Freshman of the Week
    Austin Smith  • Georgia
    Cumming, Ga.
    • Clinched both of Georgia’s matches over the weekend.
    • Including over No. 4 Kentucky – to push the Bulldogs to 14-4 (6-1) and in first place in the SEC race. 
    • His win vs. the Wildcats came in three sets. 
    • Now 12-3 in dual matches, including 5-1 in SEC play, and on a five-match winning streak.
