    • Helped the Gamecocks record their top victory of the season in beating No. 18 Auburn with wins in singles and doubles.
    • Clinched the doubles point with Jaklin Alawi versus Auburn to snap the Tigers’ streak of 15 consecutive doubles point wins.
    • Scored the third point of the Auburn match to put the Gamecocks within one of clinching.
    • Kanakova and Alawi, who are unranked, stunned sixth-ranked Macfarlane and Guarachi of Alabama to help the Gamecocks earn the doubles point.
    • Guarachi and Macfarlane are the highest ranked duo Kanakova has beaten in her doubles career.
    • The win over Guarachi and Macfarlane also marked the highest ranked doubles team a Gamecock duo has beaten since Dijana Stojic and Ana Marija Zubori topped sixth-ranked Nadja Gilchrist and Chelsey Gullickson of Georgia in the quarterfinals of the 2010 SEC Tournament.

    • Tavares finished the weekend with a perfect 2-0 record. 
    • Her wins helped the Lady Vols gain momentum in a 6-1 victory over Kentucky as she captured the third point of the match.
    • Against Vanderbilt, she battled back from a 6-1 first set loss to earn a 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles to earn match point and help the Lady Vols to the upstate of their in-state rival
