AUBURN -- Several of the former Auburn Tigers who were not selected in the 2013 NFL Draft have announced that they will sign free agent contracts with NFL clubs.
Tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen says he will sign as a free agent with the St. Louis Rams, and linebacker Daren Bates says he will attend the Rams' rookie camp.
Running back Onterio McCalebb and offensive lineman John Sullen have announced they will sign as free agents with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Several other Auburn alums have yet to announce their professional plans. Free agent signings are not official until announced by each NFL team later this week.
Defensive end Corey Lemonier was selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft Friday evening by the San Francisco 49ers, the 88th player selected overall.
