The Auburn Tigers are gearing up for another summer of baseball camps on the plains. The Tigers will be offering three individual baseball camps: Youth Camp (ages 6-12), Elite Camp (high school players only), and High School Exposure Camp (ages 13-graduated high school seniors). For many of the players on Auburn's rosters, both past and present, their first taste of the Auburn baseball experience came at an Auburn baseball camp.
Auburn's individual camps will begin with the Youth Camp on July 12-14. Following the Youth Camp will be the Elite Camp on July 14-18 and the High School Exposure Camp on July 21-24. All of these camps are open to any interested participant on a first come first serve basis, and there is still space available in each camp.
In these individual camps, the campers have the option of commuting to the camp or enrolling as a resident camper and staying in the dorms on campus. The Youth and High School Exposure Camps offer instruction in all aspects of the game as well as various competitions and games. The staff for these camps includes the Auburn baseball coaches, other high school and college coaches, as well as some current and former Auburn players. The Elite Camp is limited to just 44 high school players and the Auburn staff. This camp allows the participants to basically have the experience of being an Auburn baseball player for several days. They will be issued a uniform and a locker for use at the camp, go through team practices, live BP sessions, games, and more.
The Auburn Baseball Camps offer on-line registration to anyone interested in attending. The camp website is www.AuburnBaseballAcademy.com. You may visit this website to register for a camp or to find more detailed information about any upcoming Auburn baseball camp.
