BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The game managers from each Southeastern Conference school gathered last week in Baton Rouge, La., for their annual meeting with SEC officials.
The group meets each year with the site rotating across each of the SEC’s 14 campuses to discuss and review SEC policies and best practices on each campus for all sports.
“This is a great opportunity for the game managers from our schools to get together each summer and discuss policies and ideas,” said Craig Mattox, SEC Assistant Commissioner. “We have found it very beneficial to meet in a common location to get to better know each other and share our experiences over the past year.”
The SEC Game Managers have held an annual meeting every year since 1995. The 2014 edition of the gathering will take place in Lexington, Ky.
