Football. WINGS 94.3 Joins Auburn IMG Sports Network

AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn Athletics radio broadcasts will have a new home in Lee County, starting in August. WGZZ-FM Wings 94.3 has joined the Auburn IMG Sports Network as the Auburn/Opelika affiliate, and the popular Thursday night Tiger Talk radio show will go back on location with shows before home games set to broadcast from Bob's Victory Grille in Auburn, as announced by Auburn IMG Sports Network General Manager Jon Cole.

WGZZ-FM is set to provide coverage for football, men's and women's basketball and baseball, as well as the weekly Tiger Talk program to the Lee County listening area. It will debut the Auburn broadcasts with the August 15 edition of Tiger Talk featuring head football coach Gus Malzahn, other guests and the Voice of the Auburn Tigers, Rod Bramblett.

"We are excited about our new radio partner in Lee County, WGZZ-FM and its sister stations (WANI 1400-AM, WANI 98.7-FM, ESPN Radio 106.5 FM) will give Auburn fans better radio coverage than ever before," said Bramblett, who also serves as the Network's Director of Broadcast Services. "The Auburn IMG Sports Network is looking forward to a long and successful relationship with our new Lee County affiliate."

The soon-to-open Bob's Victory Grille on Bent Creek Road in Auburn will be the home of Tiger Talk Call-In Show on Thursday nights before home football games, featuring Malzahn in the fall, and will host other sport coaches in the winter and spring. Fans are encouraged to dine-in and participate in the show on location.
