Johnny Manziel passed for 400 yards and three touchdowns as Texas A&M pounded Sam Houston State 65-28 on Saturday at Kyle Field.
A&M led 30-14 at the half before exploding for 35 points in the third quarter.
Mike Evans had a big receiving game for the Aggies, catching seven passes for 155 yards. Four other A&M receivers (Sabian Holmes, Ja'Quay Williams, Travis Labhart, Brandon Williams) caught touchdown passes in the game.
Sam Houston State's Timothy Flanders, one of the best FCS players in the country, had a big game, rushing for 170 yards and a pair of scores.

All four of Texas A&M's non-conference opponents are from the state of Texas (Rice, Sam Houston State, SMU, UTEP).
Since 1985, Texas A&M is 62-5 at Kyle Field against non-conference opponents.
The Aggies have now scored in double digits in 30 straight games, dating back to the 2010 season.
