Nick Marshall passed for 147 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 53 yards as Auburn beat Arkansas State 38-9 at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday evening.
Cameron Artis-Payne led the way on the ground for the Tigers with 102 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown.
Auburn's lead was 21-9 in the middle of the third quarter before the Tigers scored the last 17 points in the contest.
This was a matchup between Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn's current team and his former team, which he left after last season.
