    SEC Soccer Players Of The Week

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference released its soccer players of the week on Monday, recognizing outstanding performances from another week of action around the league.

    Cheyna Williams, Vanderbilt
    F • 5-7 • So. • Hampton, Ga.
    Williams registered five goals in leading the Commodores to a win over 23rd-ranked Wisconsin and a tie with UW-Milwaukee. She scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the 4-3 win at Wisconsin. Three of her game-high seven shots found the back of the net against UW-Milwaukee as the recorded her first career hat trick. Her six goals on the season already matches her total from last year.
    Jordan Day, Texas A&M
    GK • 6-0 • Jr. • Gilbert, Ariz.
    Day allowed just one goal in 200 minutes of action, including her second shutout of the season and the 25th of her career against No. 9 Baylor on Sunday evening. She made six saves against the Bears and won all four of Baylor’s corner kicks in the air on the evening. On Friday night, she earned the 35th win of her career to move into a tie for fifth place on A&M’s career list for goalie wins.
    Pamela Begić, Florida
    MR • 6-0 • Semič, Slovenia
    Begić has turned in at least a point in each of Florida’s last three matches. She headed in her first collegiate goal in the Sept. 1 match at Florida International and then used her head to score Florida’s first goal in the 3-0 win versus Oklahoma on Sept. 6. She also contributed an assist on Havana Solaun’s first goal in Sunday’s 2-0 win versus Oklahoma State. She is tied with Solaun for second among the 2013 Gators with seven points.
