    LSU Thumps Kent State, 45-13

    The LSU Tigers raced out to a 21-0 lead and cruised home from there, beating Kent State 45-13 on Saturday night at Tiger Stadium.

    Quarterback Zach Mettenberger continued his hot play, connecting on 13-of-18 passing for 264 yards and three touchdowns.

    LSU was also able to move the ball effectively on the ground. Jeremy Hill had 11 carries for 117 yards and two touchdowns, while Terrence Magee added 108 yards and a score of his own.

    Odell Beckham, Jr. played well once again in this game. Beckham caught five passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.
