    Four SEC Teams Ranked In Latest USTFCCCA Poll

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Four Southeastern Conference cross country programs are ranked among the nation’s top-30 following the first regular-season installment of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division I National Coaches Poll, released on Tuesday by the New Orleans-based organization.

    On the men’s side, Arkansas remains steady at No. 5 nationally, while Florida moves up one spot to No. 22. Fellow SEC men’s teams Georgia and Missouri also are receiving votes.

    On the women’s side, Arkansas drops one spot to No. 10, while Vanderbilt moves up one spot to No. 19. Fellow SEC women’s teams Florida and Georgia also are receiving votes.

    Oklahoma State is the nation’s top-ranked team on the men’s side, followed by Northern Arizona (No. 2) and Colorado (No. 3).

    Providence is the unanimous national No. 1 on the women’s side, followed by Florida State (No. 2) and Oregon (No. 3).

    The 2013 SEC Cross Country Championships are scheduled to take place Friday, November 1 in Gainesville, Fla.
