Johnny Manziel passed for 244 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for 102 yards and two more scores as Texas A&M thumped SMU, 42-13 on Saturday night at Kyle Field.
The Aggies started quickly, scoring on their first two drives of the game to take a 14-0 lead. SMU added a field goal late in the first quarter, but A&M then ran off 18 straight points to make it 32-3.
SMU had 434 total yards, including 341 through the air on 67 passing attempts. However, the Mustangs could not convert, as the Aggies' defense forced three key turnovers.
Texas A&M is now 3-1 on the season, while SMU falls to 1-2.
