    SEC Volleyball Players Of The Week

    The Southeastern Conference announced its most recent volleyball players of the week on Monday, recognizing outstanding performances from around the league on the court.

    SEC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Juliette Thévenin
    Outside Hitter, South Carolina
    6-2  • Sr. •  Mont-sur-Marchinne, Belgium

    • Averaged 6.00 points, 5.70 kills and 2.40 digs per set for the Gamecocks, also hit .436 for the week 
    • Posted 20 kills in a sweep of Western Carolina, the most in the league this season in a three-set match 
    • Hit a career-best .571 (26-2-42) vs. Robert Morris, named Carolina Classic MVP   

    SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Taylor Unroe
    Libero, Florida
    5-7  • Jr. • Muncie, Ind.
     
    • Tallied 4.22 digs per set in a 3-0 week for UF
    • Has not registered a reception error in the last seven matches
    • Named to the Marquette Invitational All-Tournament team, is on a 22 match double-digit dig streak dating back to last season
     
    SEC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
    Krystal Rivers
    Middle Blocker, Alabama
    5-11  • Birmingham, Ala.
     
    • Named Clemson Classic MVP after averaging 3.92 kills per set, with a .398 hitting percentage and 1.31 blocks per set  
    • Had a career-high 25 kills, including six in the fifth set, to lead the Tide to a 3-2 win at Clemson  
    • Had 13 kills and eight blocks in a four-set win over Delaware, added 13 kills and hit .500 (13-2-22) vs. Troy
     
    OTHER TOP PERFORMANCES
     
    • Allie Sawatzky (S, Texas A&M) – Recorded her third triple-double of the season (10 kills, 43 assists, 10 digs) in a 3-1 win at Northern Colorado
    • Chloe Mann (MB, Florida) – Had  a team-high 12 kills in a sweep of No. 17 Florida State; took over the all-time career hitting percentage mark at Florida during action at the Marquette Invite
    • Lisa Henning (OH, Missouri) – Averaged 4.33 kills and 1.67 digs per set in a 4-0 week; named Co-Mizzou Classic MVP along with teammate Molly Kreklow
    • Nakeyta Clair (MB, Ole Miss) – Tallied 3.20 kills and 1.30 blocks per set, also hit .587 for the week; named MVP of the Rebel Classic
    • Kimmy Gardiner (OPP, Mississippi State) – Had a career-high 27 kills in a 3-2 win over UAB, earned Bruin Classic All-Tournament team honors
    • Camila Jersonsky (MB, Auburn) – Led Auburn with 18 kills and seven blocks in a five-set loss to No. 17 Florida State, also hit .457 with just two errors vs. FSU 
    • Stacey Smith (RS, Georgia) – Led the Bulldogs with 29 kills and a .458 hitting clip, named to the Kansas Invitational All-Tournament team 
    • Morgan Bergren (S, Kentucky) – Directed the UK offense to 40 kills on a .522 hitting clip in a sweep at Lipscomb, contributed six kills, six digs and 32 assists in the win 
    • Malorie Pardo (S, LSU) – Collected three double-doubles and set three players to career-highs during LSU’s comeback 3-2 victory over Baylor
    • Darian Dozier (MB, South Carolina) – Hit a career-best .625 in a sweep of Western Carolina, named to the Carolina Classic All-Tournament Team 
    • Elena Perri (MB, Georgia) – Named to the Kansas Invitational All-Tournament team, averaged 2.22 kills and 1.33 blocks per set in a 2-1 week for Georgia
    • Alexandra Morgan (MB, Kentucky) – Registered a team-high six blocks (2.00 blocks per set) in a sweep at Lipscomb, added six kills on the offensive end
    • Alex Holston (RS, Florida) – Hit over .400 in all three matches last week, including an errorless .462 against No. 17 Florida State, also averaged 1.00 blocks per set 
    • Briana Holman (MB, LSU) – Had a career-high 19 kills in a 3-2 come-from-behind win vs. Baylor, added 1.50 blocks per set on the defensive end  
    • Carly Kan (OH, Missouri) – Averaged 2.58 kills and 1.67 digs per set in an undefeated week for Mizzou
    • Roxanne McVey (L, Mississippi State) – Posted 26 digs in a five-set win over UAB
    • Haley Smith (L, LSU) – Averaged 3.71 digs per set and has registered double figure digs in all six of her starts at libero
    • Aubrey Edie (S, Ole Miss) – Dished out 10.20 assists per set and led Ole Miss to a .334 team-hitting percentage last week, named to the Rebel Classic All-Tournament Team
    • Stephanie Campbell (MB, Auburn) – Had a career-high 10 kills and seven blocks in a five-set loss to No. 17 Florida State
    • Jazzmin Babers (MB, Texas A&M) – Averaged 1.86 kills and 1.43 blocks per set last week
    • Breana Jones (MB, Arkansas) – Posted 3.00 kills per set and a .517  hitting percentage during the Razorback Invitational
