SEC Announces 2013-14 Women's Basketball TV Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference unveiled the 2014 women’s basketball television schedule on Wednesday. In the fifth year of its agreement with ESPN, 58 regular season games and all 13 tournament games will be televised live.

Eighteen games that involve an SEC team will be distributed nationally with ESPN or ESPN2 televising ten contests and ESPNU televising eight.

Regionally-syndicated games will be shown on SEC TV as part of ESPN Regional Television (ERT). SEC TV will televise eight conference games while SportsSouth and Comcast Sports Southeast will show 16 games each. The majority of games not televised nationally will be available as a part of ESPN Full Court, the pay subscription college basketball out-of-market service, and on ESPN3. All programming on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will be available on computers at WatchESPN.com and on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

The SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament, scheduled for March 5-9 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga., will feature all 14 teams.  The tournament, which had been a four-day event since 1992, expanded to five days last season with the addition of Missouri and Texas A&M to the league.

Fox Sports Net will televise all tournament games played Wednesday - Friday. The semifinals will be aired on ESPNU for the fifth consecutive year, while the championship game will move to ESPN from ESPN2.

The complete schedule follows.  Additional TV games could be announced by the individual SEC institutions at a later date.
