James Franklin passed for 255 yards and three touchdowns as Missouri beat Arkansas State, 41-19 on Saturday night in Columbia.
Arkansas State scored first, and led 6-0 until Marcus Murphy scored from eight yards out to give the Tigers a 7-6 lead.
In the third quarter, Arkansas State took the lead back on a 44-yard field goal by Brian Davis, but Missouri would regain the lead, for good, on a Franklin to L'Damian Washington touchdown pass with 3:39 left in the third.
Missouri stretched its lead by scoring 21 points in the fourth quarter, thus securing a 4-0 start.
