    Vanderbilt Rolls Past UAB

    Austyn Carta-Samuels passed for 334 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Vanderbilt thumped UAB, 52-24 on Saturday in Nashville.

    Vanderbilt led 7-3 after one quarter, but a big second quarter, in which the Commodores outscored the Blazers 17-3, made it 24-6 at the break.

    Vanderbilt had 540 yards of total offense in the game, as well as 23 first downs.

    Jonathan Perry had a pair of touchdown passes for UAB.
