    SEC Volleyball Players Of The Week

    The Southeastern Conference announced Monday its most recent volleyball players of the week, recognizing outstanding performances from the last week of action on the court across the league.

    Briana Holman
    Middle Blocker, LSU
    6-0  • Fr. • DeSoto, Texas

    • Averaged 4.62 points per set on a .417 hitting percentage and posted 1.50 blocks per set to maintain her hold on the SEC’s top spot
    • Led the charge as LSU erased a 2-0 deficit to defeat Texas A&M on the road; tallied 18 kills and seven blocks vs. A&M and played a key role as the Aggies were held to a .103 hitting clip for the final three frames
    • Provided 15 and 13 kills in wins over Ole Miss and Mississippi State as LSU went 3-0 in league play last week

    Ellen Mullins
    Defensive Specialist/Libero, Tennessee
    5-6  • Sr. • Nashville, Tenn.

    • Logged 32 digs in a four-set loss to Arkansas, her fifth match of the season with 30 or more digs
    • Scooped up 15 digs vs. No. 25 Missouri; averaged 6.71 digs per set over the weekend
    • Recorded no service reception errors on the week in 21 attempts

    Carly Kan
    Outside Hitter, Missouri
    5-9  • Honolulu, Hawai’i

    • Averaged 4.30 points per set with 37 kills; contributed 2.40 digs per set on the defensive end
    • Had a career-high 19 kills in a 3-1 win over Alabama
    • Tallied her first career double-double at Tennessee with 10 kills and 10 digs; converted 69 of her team-high 70 service receptions on the week


    • Allie Sawatzky (S, Texas A&M) – Recorded her fifth double-double of the season (10 kills, 25 assists, 12 digs) in a win over Mississippi State
    • Hayley Koop (OH, Arkansas) – Turned in a career-best 18 kills on .312 hitting in a four-set win at Tennessee
    • Whitney Billings (RS, Kentucky) – Registered her 38th career double-double (18 kills, 10 digs) in a sweep of South Carolina
    • Camila Jersonsky (MB, Auburn) – Led Auburn with 15 kills on .519 hitting (15-1-27) in a win Ole Miss, the win snapped a six-match losing streak for AU
    • Brittany Northcutt (OH, Georgia) – Had eight kills and nine digs in a sweep of South Carolina, helped Georgia to a 1-1 week that allowed UG to match its 2012 win total (14)
    • Kimmy Gardiner (OPP, Mississippi State) – Registered 25 kills in a pair of matches at Texas A&M and LSU
    • Haley Smith (DS, LSU) – Averaged 4.67 digs per set last week, recorded 22 digs in a sweep of Mississippi State
    • Emily Helm (L, Arkansas) – Totaled 41 digs in two matches for Arkansas for an average of 5.12 dps, recorded 27 digs in a 3-1 win over Tennessee
    • Jackie Napper (L, Kentucky) – Logged 28 digs for an average of 4.67 digs per set, added four assists on the defensive end
    • Roxanne McVey (L, Mississippi State) – Averaged 5.83 digs and 1.00 assists per set last week, turned in 18 digs vs. Texas A&M
    • Shelby Sullivan (MB, Texas A&M) – Averaged 2.25 kills and 1.12 blocks per set last week, led all players with a career-high seven blocks vs. Mississippi State
    • Taylor Unroe (L, Florida) – Tallied double-digit digs in both of Florida’s 3-0 sweeps last weekend, tied her season-high with five assists vs. No. 15 Kentucky
    • Sarah Wroblicky (L, Auburn) – Had 17 digs in a win over Ole Miss, became the 10th player in program history with 1,000 or more digs
    • Krystal Rivers (MB, Alabama) – Recorded 32 kills against Arkansas and No. 25 Missouri, averaged 4.00 kills per set last week on .481 hitting
    • Breana Jones (MB, Arkansas) – Averaged 2.75 kills and 1.38 blocks per set in a 1-1 week for Arkansas      
    • Stephanie Campbell (MB, Auburn) – Matched her career-high with 10 kills in Auburn’s win over Ole Miss, hit .526 in the match with no errors
