Six SEC Teams In Initial BCS Standings

Six Southeastern Conference football programs are ranked in the initial 2013 standings for the Bowl Championship Series, released on Sunday evening.

Alabama holds the No. 1 spot in the initial BCS standings, while Missouri is No. 5.

The percentage of votes in the USA Today and Harris polls each count for one third of the calculations. A composite ranking of six computers make up the final third. Each team's highest and lowest computer rankings are ignored in the calculations.
