    SEC Volleyball Players Of The Week

    The Southeastern Conference announced its volleyball players of the week on Monday, recognizing outstanding performances on the court from another week of action around the league.

    Carly Kan
    Outside Hitter, Missouri
    5-9  • Fr. • Honolulu, Hawai’i

    • Averaged 5.64 points per set, 3.57 digs per set and 5.14 kills per set on .384 hitting as Mizzou secured a pair of road wins at LSU and Texas A&M
    • Had a career-night in Missouri’s four-set win at LSU, resetting career-highs in kills (24), points (26.0), digs (17) and blocks (four); her 26.0 points in the match are the most by any SEC player in a league match this season    
    • Continues to be the Tigers’ primary passer in the back row, converted all 32 of her service receptions vs. TAMU and finished the week 44-of-45 (.978)

    Jasmine Eatmon
    Middle Blocker, Georgia
    6-1  • R-So. • Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

    • Tied for a team best 13 blocks in a 2-1 week for UG
    • Tied her season-high with six blocks in a 3-2 win over No. 15 Kentucky, Georgia’s first win over UK since 2004; also recorded a season-best 10 digs vs. the Wildcats
    • Blocked five shots versus Alabama

    Krystal Rivers
    Middle Blocker, Alabama
    5-11  • Birmingham, Ala.

    • Tallied 14 kills with an SEC and career-high .778 hitting percentage (14-0-18) in Alabama’s 3-1 win at Georgia; added five blocks on the defensive end  
    • Added 15 kills and three blocks against No. 15 Kentucky

    Kimmy Gardiner
    Opposite, Mississippi State
    6-2  • Grapevine, Texas

    • Averaged 4.00 kills and 2.25 digs per set last week in a pair of hard-fought matches at Kentucky and at Georgia    
    • Notched her 10th double-double of the season (21 kills, 10 digs) in a five-set loss to UG


    • Tirah Le’au (OH, Georgia) – Averaged 3.61 points per set in a 2-1 week for UG, notched one of the best performances of her career against No. 15 Kentucky with 18 kills on .343 hitting
    • Shelby Sullivan (MB, Texas A&M) – Hit a career-high .682 and took match-high honors with 16 kills in three sets against No. 11 Missouri
    • Alexandra Morgan (MB, Kentucky) – Averaged 2.50 kills per set on a team-high .436 hitting clip; also averaged a team-high 1.25 blocks per set in a 2-1 week for UK
    • Živa Recek (OH, Florida) – Had a team-high 14 kills against Tennessee; scooped 14 digs vs. Auburn with no reception errors
    • Katherine Culwell (OH, Auburn) – Earned her ninth double-double of the season with 12 kills and 12 digs vs. South Carolina
    • Jazzmin Babers (MB, Texas A&M) – Tied her career highs in both points (13.0) and kills (10) while hitting a personal-best .529 in three sets against No. 11 Missouri
    • Roxanne McVey (L, Mississippi State) – Tallied 26 digs in a five-set loss to Georgia; also averaged 0.88 assists per set over the weekend
    • Sarah Meister (L, Missouri) – Averaged 5.43 digs per set in a pair of SEC road wins; converted 59 of 61 service receptions  
    • Stephanie Campbell (MB, Auburn) –  Led Auburn with a .303 hitting percentage for the week (14 kills, 4 errors, 33 attempts)
    • Anni Thomasson (OH, Kentucky) – Averaged 2.08 kills and 1.83 digs per set last week; posted 12 kills vs. Mississippi State, a career-best in league competition  
    • Victoria Arenas (DS, Texas A&M) – Had a career-high and team-high 20 digs in a 3-1 win against Arkansas  
    • Taylor Unroe (L, Florida) – Tallied double-digit digs in both of Florida’s matches this weekend, two 3-0 sweeps to remain unbeaten at home; averaged 5.17 digs per set
    • Alex Holston (RS, Florida) – Had nine kills, three digs and one block in a sweep of Tennessee
