    LSU Gets Past Furman, 48-16

    After a close first half, the LSU Tigers dominated the second half, beating Furman 48-16 on Saturday night in Baton Rouge.

    LSU led just 20-16 over the FCS-level Paladins at halftime, but the Tigers opened the second half with a Terrence Magee touchdown, then added to the margin from there.

    The Tigers had 668 yards of total offense in the game. Zach Mettenberger passed for 328 yards and three touchdowns, while Jeremy Hill (143) and Magee (108) each rushed for more than 100 yards.

    Odell Beckham continued his big season with 204 yards receiving and a pair of scores.
