2013 SEC FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP TICKET GIVEWAY SWEEPSTAKES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. These Official Rules govern the “2013 SEC Football Championship Ticket Giveaway Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) offered by the Southeastern Conference (“SEC”). Sweepstakes begins at midnight, 12:00 a.m., EST, on November 9, 2013 and ends at 5:00 p.m., EST, on December 3, 2013 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). One (1) prize of two (2) tickets to the 2013 SEC Football Championship game will be awarded.
To Enter: Download the SEC Championship Application (“App”) to a mobile device, smartphone, or tablet and follow the prompts on the App to be entered to win the tickets. Limit one entry per person please. Multiple or mechanically reproduced entries will be disqualified. SEC is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, damaged, or otherwise deficient or incompletely received for any reason. SEC is also is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in offer, administration of the prize or in the announcement or fulfillment of the prize. SEC, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or is otherwise in violation of the rules. SEC further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify any promotion not capable of completion as planned, including by tampering, unauthorized intervention or force majeure. All entries submitted become the sole property of SEC.
Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry, except employees of SEC and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household (whether related or not) of each such employee. Sweepstakes is void in Rhode Island, outside the United States, in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law.
Drawing. One (1) winner will be selected randomly at 8 a.m. EST, Wednesday, December 4, 2013. The winner will have until 8 a.m. EST, Thursday, December 5, 2013, to claim the prize. If prize is unclaimed on December 5, 2013, another entry will be randomly selected. Due to time constraints, any entries selected after the initial drawing on December 4th, will only be notified by phone and the prize will need to be claimed at the time of the notification. All decisions are final. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. Prize consists of only those items specifically described as included in the prize. All fees, federal, state and other taxes, costs and expenses relating to the use, acceptance and possession of the prize (including but not limited to all travel costs to and from the SEC Championship football game, hotel accommodations, parking, food, gratuity, and other related costs and expenses) are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Prize: One (1) winner will receive a pair (2) tickets to the SEC Championship football game on December 7, 2013. Approximate Retail Value: $90.00 per pair of tickets ($180.00 total). The prize is game tickets only. No travel costs, hotel, parking, or any other related expenses are covered.
Notification: Winners will be notified by phone and/or email. Winner will be required to present a photo i.d. at the time of prize redemption. Arrangements will be made for winner to pick up tickets at the Georgia Dome (photo i.d. required) Will Call at the SEC Championship football game. Upon prize forfeiture, no payment or other compensation will be made to the winner. In the event of noncompliance with this or any other requirement, the winner may be disqualified. No substitution, exchange or transfer of prize except by SEC, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. If the winner declines to accept the awarded prize or fails to comply with the prize conditions set forth herein or these Official Rules, the selected winner will forfeit the prize and SEC may, but is not required to, award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner selected randomly among all the remaining eligible entries.
Release. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules. Entrants are solely responsible for their own actions and agree to hold harmless SEC, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions and related companies, together with and the respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, assigns and licensees of each of them, and those companies supplying prizes (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any liability for losses, damages or injuries arising in connection with their participation in the Sweepstakes or the award or use of a prize.
Publicity. Acceptance of a prize constitutes consent to SEC’s use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, (including but not limited to internet and television broadcast) without further consent or compensation except where prohibited.
General Conditions. SEC and each of its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; failure of any entry to be received by SEC due to technical problems or human error; printing or other errors. SEC reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes in the event that it becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond SEC’s control. In the event the Sweepstakes is terminated early, potential winners will be selected from all eligible entries received at the time of termination. SEC further reserves the right to amend or change these Official Rules at any time, in SEC’s sole discretion.
Disputes. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the state of Georgia, United States (without reference to the conflicts of laws provisions thereof) and, by entering, winners and entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Georgia. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE RELATED TO SEC OR THE SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SEC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW
