    Missouri Rolls Past Tennessee, 31-3

    The Missouri Tigers bounced back from their first loss of the season last week by beating Tennessee 31-3 on Saturday night in Columbia.

    Missouri scored the first 17 points of the game, and led 24-3 at halftime. Missouri scored the game's only points in the second half on a Russell Hansbrough touchdown run in the third quarter.

    Quarterback Maty Mauk had three passing touchdowns and rushed for 114 yards in the victory.

    The Missouri defense also played big, holding Tennessee to only 94 yards rushing in the game.

    This was Tennessee's first-ever game at Missouri.
    Gary Pinkel has now won at least eight games in eight of his 13 seasons at Missouri.
    Pinkel has now won 98 games at Missouri, leaving him just three wins from tying Don Faurot's school record of 101.
