    Four SEC Teams Ranked No. 1

    Four Southeastern Conference teams currently in season are ranked No. 1 nationally, according to the latest polls for their respective sports.

    Alabama is the nation’s No. 1 football team and is ranked No. 1 in the latest BCS Standings with a 9-0 record. Kentucky is the nation’s No. 1 men’s basketball team with a 2-0 record, featuring reigning SEC Player of the Week and Preseason Player of the Year Julius Randle. Georgia is the nation’s top-ranked equestrian team with a 3-0 overall record. Alabama is the No. 1-ranked men’s golf team and the defending NCAA Champion.

    Tuesday is a big day for SEC men’s basketball, featuring seven games on the slate. No. 1 Kentucky and No. 2 Michigan State meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET in the Champions Classic, marking the first No. 1 vs. No. 2 match-up, according to the Associated Press poll, since Memphis and Tennessee squared off in 2008. No. 11 Florida also faces No. 20 Wisconsin in Madison at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
