    Ole Miss Edges Auburn At Home, 65-62

    OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss edged Auburn 65-62 in the SEC home opener on Thursday night. Derrick Millinghaus led The Rebels with 16 points.  Ole Miss improves to 10-4 on the season, 1-0 in SEC play.

    Jarvis Summers added 14 points as the Rebels won their second-straight conference opener and snapped Auburn's four-game winning streak.

    Auburn's Chris Denson posted 28 points in the losing effort, and KT Harrell added 11.

    Auburn (8-4) had a chance to send the game into overtime, but Harrell's 3-pointer was off the mark.  

    Ole Miss shot 43.4% from the field, but went 7-14 from three point range.

    Up next for the Rebels is a matchup at in-state rival Mississippi State on Saturday.  ESPNU will carry all the action live.
