    Seven SEC Teams In Latest GymInfo Top-25

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Seven Southeastern Conference gymnastics teams are ranked among the nation’s top-25, including five in the top-10 and three in the top-five, according to the latest GymInfo Women’s Gymnastics National Top-25, released on Monday.

    LSU is the SEC’s highest-ranked team, checking in at No. 2, after tallying a 197.200 vs. Centenary in its season-opening meet. It is the highest ranking for the Tigers since March 21, 2005. Alabama turned in its highest season-opening score in program history with a 197.150 vs. conference foe Missouri on Friday night, and the Crimson Tide stand at No. 3 in the national rankings.

    Florida, which defeated top-five opponent UCLA on the road on Saturday, is tied for fourth with a 196.650. Georgia (No. 9) and Arkansas (No. 10) round out the SEC teams ranked in the national top-10 with season averages of 196.325 and 196.200, respectively.

    Kentucky (195.000) checks in at No. 17, while Auburn (194.875) is ranked No. 18.
