    Eight SEC Teams In ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25

    The ESPN.com/USA Softball Preseason Top 25 poll was released Tuesday, and eight Southeastern Conference teams are in the rankings heading into the season. 

    Tennessee will start the year atop the nation, coming in at No. 1 overall in the rankings following a national runner-up finish in 2013. The SEC boasts three top 10 teams, as Florida checks in at No. 3 and Alabama at No. 6.

    Texas A&M sits just outside of the top 10 at No. 11, followed up by No. 14  Kentucky, No. 17 Missouri, No. 19 LSU and No. 21 Georgia. Two other SEC squads, Arkansas and Auburn, received votes but finished just outside the top 25.
