    The Southeastern Conference announced its weekly women's basketball honors on Monday, recognizing outstanding performances on the court from another week of league competition.

    • Kayla Lewis averaged 16.0 points and 13.5 rebounds while shooting a 64.7 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the free throw line in two games last week, including the 86-80 upset win against Kentucky when she scored 18 points and tied her career-high of 17 rebounds, while dishing a career-high 6 assists.
    • Her exceptional rebounding effort last week moved her into the top spot among all SEC players for rebounding in league games.
    • Lewis bettered her season averages in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals last week, when she hit 10-of-12 free throws.
    • Lewis posted double-doubles in both games last week for her sixth and seventh this year
    • Led the win against Kentucky, marking the Gator’s season sweep over the Wildcats.

    • Led team in points and rebounds and was second in assists and blocks over two games last week.
    • Powered team to win at Mississippi State while other traditional scorers struggled with foul trouble.
    • Posted seventh double-double of season at Mississippi State while tying for team-high honors with four assists.
    • Recorded career-high five blocked shots in win over Arkansas.
    • Scored game-high 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting against Razorbacks.
    • Averaged 17.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.5 blocks and 1.5 steals, all besting her season averages.

    Freshman of the Week

    • Raigyne Moncrief secured 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game last week.
    • She knocked down 50.0 percent of her shots and scored 22 of her 30 points during the second half. 
    • The freshman guard grabbed a career-high tying nine rebounds at No. 19 Texas A&M. 
    • Moncrief has registered double figures in four straight games and five of her last six outings. 
    • On the defensive end, she moved up to fifth place and the SEC’s top spot among freshmen in the steals per game category.
