    Grace Trimble Named 2014 Truman Scholar

    Junior Grace Trimble, a member of the Kentucky women's tennis team was named a 2014 Truman Scholar, it was announced by UKnow, Wednesday afternoon. A native of Winchester, Ky., Trimble is the 13th recipient of the award and the only from Kentucky this year. She will be awarded with $30,000 to perform graduate work in areas of public service.

    SEC Equestrian Teams Set For NCEA Championship

    The four equestrian programs of the Southeastern Conference are set to begin the 2014 National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championship this Thursday through Saturday at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas. The event features the top-12 teams in the sport of collegiate equestrian vying for the sport’s national championship. Competition begins at 8:30 a.m. CT each of the three days.
